I was going through my old photographs and happened upon this gem. Maggie went through a phase in which she frequently attempted to stick her head in my glass of water. In fact, I would often wake up to this scene. She hasn't done it in awhile, but no matter how much I love her, I have no desire to share saliva with a being who eats Science Diet and her own hair.
So, the lesson: put a lid on your water or drink out of a bottle, but whatever you do, if you leave your glass uncovered while sleeping, don't drink it the next morning. You just may end up drinking kitty cat backwash.
Remember at that time she also didn't really like drinking out of her own water...only ours! And if I were you I'd rather share saliva with Maggie than me.
