What a Drought...

Jeff and I went hiking today... I had a blast even though Jeff whined, and the trail was a bit disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it was beautiful, but compared to my first visit it was dismal. It was a sad but a vivid illustration of just how bad the drought is right now.

Despite the lack of water I still managed to have fun. It's hard to believe such places exist, especially so close to home. So far we've conquered two trails at Ferne Clyffe... only sixteen more to go.

"We do not have any tornado warnings right now."

Well, that's because you fucking missed it. You lead your 4PM show with weather, yet you failed to mention the tornado warning that ended a mere 15 minutes before your show began.  Hell, you couldn't even bother to run a scroll bar at the bottom of the screen during the warning. Losing an inch of Jeopardy to that awful scrolling bar is far more important that informing the people of potentially dangerous swirling clouds.

Please don't let there be anymore tornado warnings. Why? A. No one wants a tornado and B. Meteorolgists up here apparently have access to a more tornado-less radar than the rest of us, and I'd like to have time to grab Maggie and head to the basement and not die.
